A privately owned company since its inception in 1925, Minneapolis-based Star Machine & Tool Co. has been manufacturing the highest quality equipment and accessories for three-quarters of a century. The company mission remains unchanged over the years: Provide customers with equipment which will out-perform and out-last the competition.

In the late 1940s, the company expanded into new markets with a line of manual, electric-powered hydraulic cranes for use on the shop floor or mounted on trucks. Capacities ranged from 1,000 lbs. to 4,000 lbs. Again, the goal was uncompromising quality and customer satisfaction.

Today, Star Machine's emphasis on quality equipment is as strong as ever, as is the belief in American engineering and manufacturing know-how. All of Star Machine & Tool equipment is made in manufacturing facilities in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and South Dakota.
